Community Association Grant Supports groups that advocate for and uplift their local community. Community Loans OPEN NOW: Interest-free loans for the development of recreation facilities in the community. Creative Communities Scheme (CCS) OPEN NOW: Supports local arts and cultural projects and events.

    • Supports innovative projects that address food security and increase community resilience in Te Tai Tokerau.
    • Supports local groups to deliver Puanga Matariki Festival events.
    • In the past year, our community funding supported 123 projects across Whangārei, including youth initiatives, disability services, environmental projects, food-rescue programmes and surf-lifesaving facilities.
    • $35,000 awarded to support arts, culture and young creatives
    • Our Youth Week Fund supports youth-led initiatives that celebrate and support our young people. One of this year's recipients is leading a group of young people to deliver youth civics education.
