Instead of checking dozens of funder websites yourself, you get one searchable, up-to-date database plus tools that help you decide what to apply for and write a stronger application.

Where do the funding opportunities come from?

Every listing is discovered by our automated funding scanner reading published funder pages — government agencies, councils, community and gaming trusts, iwi organisations, philanthropic trusts, corporate funds and education providers. Each listing records the source page it came from, the date and time it was last checked, and a plain-language check status, all of which are shown on the opportunity page.

How often is the database updated?

The scanner runs several times a day. It adds newly published rounds, updates listings when a funder changes an amount, criteria or deadline, archives rounds once they close, and flags anything low-confidence for human review before it goes live.

Is the information guaranteed to be accurate?

We take accuracy seriously, but funders change their criteria and dates without notice. Funding Radar is a research and matching tool — always open the source link and confirm the current round, criteria and deadline with the funder before you apply.

What does it cost?

Free accounts can browse five opportunities a month and save one. Pro is NZ$14.99 a month or NZ$149 a year and unlocks unlimited browsing and saving, advanced filters, deadline alerts, funding matching and the Application Assistant. Organisation is NZ$34.99 a month or NZ$349 a year and adds multiple users, a shared organisation profile and application tracking. All prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST. Can I cancel at any time?

Yes. Cancel from the billing page and you keep every paid feature until the end of the period you have already paid for — there is no lock-in contract and no cancellation fee. You can reactivate at any time before the period ends.

How does the funding match score work?

Accepted Answer

The score is calculated from your organisation profile — your region, organisation type, focus areas, what you described your project as, and the amount you need — compared against the fund's own eligibility, coverage and grant size. Each match lists the specific reasons behind the score and anything you should double-check. Nothing is a fixed or demonstration percentage.

Does Funding Radar decide who gets funding?

No. We are independent of every funder listed. All funding decisions are made by the funders themselves. We help you find the right fund, understand the criteria and prepare a stronger application.

Can I track applications in Funding Radar?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The application tracker moves each application through Interested, Reviewing, Applying, Submitted, Successful, Unsuccessful and Archived, keeps your drafts and notes, and records every stage change with its date so you can see your funding pipeline at a glance.

I run a fund — how do I get listed or correct a listing?

Get in touch through the contact page. Listings are free for funders. If a deadline, amount or criterion is wrong, tell us and we will correct it, usually within two working days.

How is my organisation's information used?

Accepted Answer

Your profile is used to match you to funding and personalise your dashboard. We do not sell your data or share it with funders without your say-so. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy, which is written to the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
