About Funding Radar

Funding Radar is a New Zealand-wide funding discovery platform. It helps businesses, charities, community organisations, clubs, schools and kura, sports organisations, marae and iwi groups, and other eligible groups find the grants, sponsorship and funding they can actually apply for.

Funding in Aotearoa is scattered across hundreds of funder websites, PDFs and mailing lists, so organisations miss out on funding that was there for them. Funding Radar monitors funder sources continuously and pulls everything into one searchable place: filter by region, category, organisation type, funding type and deadline, save what fits, and track what you're chasing on one dashboard.

Nationwide coverage

We cover funders across the country — government agencies, councils, community and gaming trusts, iwi organisations, philanthropic trusts, corporate sponsorship programmes and the national funds any New Zealand organisation can apply for. Southland and Otago sources are checked first on every scan because that is where Funding Radar started, and coverage continues to deepen everywhere else. If a fund you know of is missing, tell us and we'll look at adding its source.

How listings are verified

Every listing is discovered by reading the funder's own published page. We record the source link and the date and time the page was last checked, archive rounds once they close, and hold anything uncertain for a person to review before it is published — so you should never see a listing presented as fact when we aren't confident in it.

Funders can change amounts, criteria and deadlines at any time, so always open the source link and confirm the current round with the funder before you apply.
