About this funding
Funding is available for not-for-profit groups, charities, and community organisations delivering projects that align with community priorities. This year Council was able to increase the total funding to $208,000 through additional operational funding, strategically aligned to priority projects. A panel of councillors assessed the applications in May, with final decisions approved by Full Council at the 25 June 2026 meeting. Please see a list of Community Fund 2026-2027 recipients in the table below. Those wishing to speak to their application, need to register by Thursday 14 May. Presenting to elected members is optional and is not a requirement of the Community Fund application process.
