The Ministry of Youth Development (MYD) – Te Manatū Whakahiato Taiohi – allocates approximately $12.062 million per year across a wide range of youth development and youth enterprise initiatives. MYD contracts organisations that apply a youth development approach to improve outcomes and wellbeing for young New Zealanders aged 12 to 24 years. Providers contracted by MYD must demonstrate the capability and capacity to deliver quality social services continuously.
