--> Doctoral Scholarships | Auckland Medical Research Foundation top of page Doctoral Scholarships Each year the Foundation provides funding to support for a PhD, MD or for a Master’s degree in biomedical, clinical or population health research. Further, many neurodivergent young people remain undiagnosed due to systemic barriers. The findings will fill a significant knowledge gap surrounding undiagnosed neurodivergence and its impact in Aotearoa New Zealand. This research will provide evidence for targeted interventions that could address inequities in access to diagnosis, support, and outcomes. This research will generate actionable evidence to inform policy, early intervention strategies, and service delivery models. By identifying points for timely intervention, the outcomes of this project will highlight strategies to reduce the economic and social costs associated with poor health and wellbeing, educational disengagement, and involvement with the justice system.
