Annual Funding Applications are Now Closed for 2026 Funding is available for organisations across the Western Bay of Plenty. If you re planning a project or initiative that supports your community, we encourage you to apply. About Acorn funding There are a variety of ways the Acorn Foundation provides funding across the Western Bay of Plenty. Our main funding round runs from April to August each year, giving charitable organisations the opportunity to apply for support through Acorn s annual distributions. Organisations may also receive funding through a donor s Named Charity wishes, where a donor has chosen specific charities to receive annual distributions from their fund. Local charities can also establish a Charity Fund with Acorn, creating a long-term source of sustainable funding for their organisation.
