Application tips
- Assign an experienced internal technical supervisor to mentor the student throughout the placement.
- Check that the graduate candidate has completed their post-graduate qualification within the mandatory 12-month timeframe before applying.
- Clearly demonstrate why your project represents a true 'first-of-its-kind' innovation rather than an incremental product upgrade.
- Define a well-scoped technical project that an undergraduate student can realistically complete within a 10 to 12 week period.
- Ensure the proposed position description strictly focuses on R&D responsibilities rather than general technical support or operations.
